I am very excited to be able to teach and share music with you. My name is Michael Wheeler, I began teaching private music lessons (both piano and voice) in my early 20's mostly to aspiring pop singers, from there I moved on to a music studio in Tempe, AZ before finally moving to Roseburg, Oregon with my wife in order to be closer to our family.

No matter what kind of music lessons you are interested in, I will do my best to meet the needs of every student. This is done through fostering a cooperative learning environment where goals are realized and potential fulfilled. I have spent a great deal of time in my adult life studying how to teach music to all kinds of people. I am a firm believer that lessons should be low stress, fun and challenging.

Lessons available in Roseburg and online are; piano (classical/jazz/improvisational), voice (classical/musical theater/popular styles), composition/songwriting, and music theory tutoring (these are popular subjects especially for home-schooled students). For Hindustani music; dilruba/esraj, sitar, and harmonium lessons may be taken. Also available are sessions in acting coaching as well as public speaking. More information is available in the Types of Lessons section of this website.

A half hour free trial/interview session is available to all prospective new students. If interested, please specify what type of music lessons interests you in the Contact/Register portion of this website along with any other information or questions you may have. Thank you for stopping by.
